These are a few of my favorite things...

As promised, here are a few of my favorite, most memorable items I received at my first baby shower.

I live in the South but was born and raised in Portland, OR. My political views will probably always be a tad more liberal than my southern counterparts. Mary got us an Obama onesie - Robert can't stand it and has declared "war" with the gift giving (she's getting married soon).

My dear friend Laurel MADE this quilt for us. It's so pretty and soft. The fabric is flannel with a soft minky type fabric on the back. I love how "useable" it will be when the baby comes.

This is the hand made crocheted blanket that my mom's friend Eleanor gave me. She told me she got it from "some dead lady" cause that is how Eleanor is. Later she told my mom she found this at an estate sale years ago and was saving it for her grandchildren (cry!). I will cherish this forever. I plan on getting it framed in a tapestry frame.

How cute are these??? Baby Converse! And - they are in "Bama" colors so our little girl will be so cute running around on game day with these! Thanks Jolene!!!

Mary - the fashionista that she is... got our baby a Juicy Couture outfit! She'll be one stylin' little girl!
